In Non-duality-informed therapy and supervision, I endeavour to offer a space that pronides the best possible conditions to meet experience fully as it is, however it is, and to notice the nature of this experiencing in a way that points to the natural provision of nourishment, resource, and ever-deepening recognition of the seamless nature of self and life. This is an invitation into direct, experiential inquiry where nothing about your experience needs to be fixed, removed, or transcended.
Rather than a therapeutic or coaching space that focusses on analysis, becoming something else, or making experience different (all of which assumes that we know what experience is, and that self and life is in some way deficient or lacking) – in Non-dual Therapy, we focus on discovering the fullness and completeness that is already here, beyond our descriptions of what we think we know about it.
At the heart of my work is a simple but radical orientation:
What is here, right now – and what is it, really?
I give great emphasis to my clients being the sovereignty and authority on their own experience. The expression of the space very effortlessly points you towards yourself. We are exploring together in how to deepen and stabilise in your own capacity of knowingness and insight. We orientate around being the livingness of the question: ‘what is the nature of experience?’. As we inhabit the aliveness of this question more and more fully through our lived experience, we incrementally develop a confidence in being the capacity that can be deeply intimate with the opening and softening bandwith of experience, and deeply authentic and free in the inhabitation of our humanity.
A Nondual Approach to Practitioner Supervision
My Non-dual Therapy practice is grounded in the Reclaiming Wholeness Training approach. My supervision and mentorship work with practitioners focusses on fostering together a deepening recognition and embodiment of the principles of Reparenting as Presence (an attachment focussed approach to nondual therapy) and the eight movements of Compassionate Attunement. It is my experience that through the embodiment of these principles, through being the living question ‘what is the nature of experience?’– an approach to therapy that seems intricate and complex is revealed to be the most natural, grounded, ordinary, and simultaneously astounding, powerful, and beautiful way of being with another human being as they meet their experience of suffering, struggle, and natural self-realisation.

I completed my counsellor training in 2009 and have since trained across a range of therapeutic and psycho-spiritual approaches. I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I spent over a decade in NHS mental health services, working in inpatient and therapy settings and contributing to staff training and service transformation, and later led mental health improvement projects in the social justice sector. I have also written for professional healthcare publications.
I host the Non-duality Podcast, exploring non-duality, psychology, healing, and human experience in a grounded, accessible way, and I founded the first non-dual therapy directory for practitioners influenced by non-dual understanding.
My Approach to Non-dual Therapy and Non-dual Therapy Supervision
My work is rooted in the recognition that our suffering is maintained by an innocent misperception: a felt sense of separation from ourselves, from others, and from life itself. We conventionally assume we are isolated, vulnerable subjects in an objective world, at the mercy of whatever happens to us, yet direct investigation reveals this separation to be a conceptual illusion, with no actual dividing line between ourselves and the world of our experience. Drawing mostly on the non-dual philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism (the Trika lineage), my approach is grounded in radical inclusion: the experiential recognition that reality is a seamless, indivisible whole, and that nothing exists outside of it. This is not a belief to adopt. It means nothing in your experience needs to be exiled, suppressed, bypassed, or fixed in order for you to heal, because every phenomenon is a living expression of reality itself. Difficulty is not opposed to wholeness but one of the ways wholeness appears.
In non-dual therapy, we meet suffering through direct experiential inquiry, exploring lived reality intimately and compassionately rather than forcing change or micromanaging experience. Much of our suffering comes from “cognitive fusion,” where we become entangled with the heavy narratives, judgments, and labels the mind places on our pain, mistaking thoughts for fixed realities and treating emotions like anxiety or grief as concrete, threatening things to be eradicated. In Non-dual Therapy, talking about what brings you to getting support has its place, but we also shift from story to texture, turning attention away from conceptual interpretation and towards the raw presence of the experience itself. By feeling the energetic or somatic presence of a difficult emotion without its label, we de-reify it, discovering that what seemed a solid, entrapping problem is an open-ended flow of energy. We do not deny the pain, but we untangle it from the stories that have us wage a psychological war against our own experience, cultivating an equality of vision in which all experiences, from joy to anxiety, are recognised as equal in their fundamental essence.
